Agency 1 Real Estate - Serving You for 26 Years!

In 1975 Marcia Risbara became interested in selling real estate and opened her own company in Scarborough called Risbara Realty. At a time when some of the major real estate franchises were emerging, Marcia became affiliated with a franchise in 1979, changing the name to Agency 1.

Marcia and one of her agents, John C. Harmon Sr., became partners in 1983. In 1993, John became the sole owner of Agency 1 and began growing the company by mergers and acquisitions.

After John Sr. passed away in 2002, Christina Harmon and John C. Harmon II took over the reigns, re-modeling and expanding the Scarborough office. Recognizing that the franchise system no longer fit our company style, the Harmon family boldly positioned Agency 1 as a leading independent real estate company.
